Daily workshops will focus on areas directly related to mental health, such as nutrition and exercise, relationships and boundary setting, and early attachent injuries. Each day there will be a Wilderness Adventure.
Some of my approaches and modalities include the use of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), E.M.D.R., Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Therapy and Mindfulness.
Below are some of the Activies that we will participating in depending on weather conditions, season of year, and physical fitness levels.
- Canoeing / Sea Kayaking / Stand up paddleboarding
- Hike / Full or Half Day
- Daily Mindfulness
- Massage Therapy
In addition to the outdoor experiences, there will be a strong emphasis on individual and group counselling, as well as an individual Solo component. There will be daily nutiritious meals, snack and a celebratory wrap up banquet. Yoga and massage therapy is also encorporated into the recovery program. Evening camp fires will wrap up each day, with an emphasis on reflection and debriefing.
